Volunteer

CBB relies on the work of a wonderful group of dedicated volunteers. Projects include milling wooden boat parts and doing finish work on boats that our students have built. Some volunteers work with our students on education initiatives once they have put some time in behind the scenes in the shop. Although appreciated, no woodworking or finish work experience is necessary. All volunteers are asked to fill out a volunteer application and submit information for a background check. Once submitted CBB will schedule a volunteer orientation after which you are welcome to come during our open shop hours.
